Area of Greatest Needs

By allowing your gifts to support our Area of Greatest Needs you are helping us to promote continued nursing education, supplement assistance funds for health ministries and community outreach programs, as well as a variety of other projects that assist the health system in providing quality health care.

 

B. L. Presler Scholarship Endowment

Created in 1988 by the Estate of B.L. Preslar, the endowment provides a health education scholarship for a Bon Secours St. Francis employee, volunteer, or family member each year.

 

Edward H. Stall Endowment

Created in 1995 by family and friends of Edward H. Stall, the endowment is used to provide the Compassionate Care Award to a Bon Secours St. Francis employee.  This award is to recognize an employee who daily demonstrates the values of our founders in providing quality, compassionate care.  


Center of Excellence for Hematological Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation

While supporting the Center of Excellence for Hematological Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation you are helping us to provide treatment to patients with cancers of the blood.  Through the collaboration of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System and Cancer Center of the Carolinas, the Center of Excellence for Hematological Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation will escalate cancer care in our area, providing care that is both medically advanced and personally compassionate.
 

Festival of Trees Sponsor

Sponsorship of the St. Francis Holiday Festival is vital to the St. Francis Foundation in order to support Bon Secours' mission of providing "good help to those in need." Genevieve Mills Gallivan Endowment

Created in 1995 by the Gallivan Family, this endowment provides education and spiritual support for the Emmanuel Unit patients, family and staff.


Hospice

Your generous contributions in support of the Hospice fund help to provide education for families, patients, staff and the community, and allows St. Francis to assist families with funeral expenses, holiday meals and prescriptions.


Jack Dupree Parker, MD Endowment

Created in 1992 by the McKissick Family, this endowment supports community education for cancer care.


James D. Gould Endowment

Created in 1987 by Martha Gould Gallivan, this endowment provides additional education for the Gastrointestinal staff at Bon Secours St. Francis.


John I. Smith Endowment

Created in 1995 by a grant from John I. Smith Charities, this endowment helps to support patient needs of the John I. Smith Diabetes Center.


Louis P. Batson, Jr. Cancer Care Center

Your gifts to the Louis P. Batson, Jr. Cancer Care Center will help provide excellent patient care, state of the art technology and additional staff education opportunities in oncology care.


Millennium

Your gift will help develop the Millennium Campus of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, which will usher in a new vision of healthcare for Greenville with state-of-the-art care and rejuvenating features such as a chapel, a daycare, an amphitheatre, and walking trails. With neighbors like the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, this location will offer a stimulating environment of innovation.


Neonatal Care Unit

By supporting the Neonatal Unit, you will help provide specialized services, not just for preemies, but also for full-term infants who have unexpected needs, like oxygen therapy or infection treatment.


Sheila B. Dilworth Endowment

Created in 1997 by Ronnie Dilworth in memory of his wife, this endowment is used to support educational programming and supplies for the Pastoral Care Department.

 

St. Francis Heart Center

By supporting the St. Francis Heart Center you are providing the community with the opportunity to receive high-tech cardiac care. These funds will be used to provide support to patients and their families, purchase the best equipment available and help staff to continue to update their education.

 

Suzanne K. Misiaveg, RN, Endowment

Created in 2002 by Mr. and Mrs. William A. Misiaveg, this endowment helps to provide continuing education for the nurses at Bon Secours St. Francis.


Women and Family Services

Your gift to the Women and Family Services  program will provide patients with services which include lactation support, neonatal care and the Home Visit program, which aids new mothers in the transition from hospital to home.
