Your Bundle of Joy

We believe that every child born at St. Francis is a part of St. Francis forever. And the parents and families and friends who have chosen over the years to give to the Celebrate the Children program have gone beyond to create a legacy as well. This donation ensures that your child is literally present as his or her name is chiseled on a brick on the Walkway of Celebration at ST. FRANCIS eastside, and spiritually present in the donations that provide continued support for the Neonatal Care Unit, the Lactation Program and the Nurse Home Visit Program.

There are three specific opportunities to honor the birth of your child:

  • The Franciscan Society – An annual gift of $1000 or more

    • A brick in the Walkway of Celebration chiseled with your child’s name
    • Invitations to two exclusive donor events a year
    • Foundation newsletters and St. Francis Health System Updates
    • Engraved silver birth certificate holder in honor of your child

  • The Bernardine Society – An annual gift of $500

    • A brick in the Walkway of Celebration chiseled with your child’s name
    • Invitations to one exclusive donor event a year
    • Foundation newsletters and St. Francis Health System Updates
    • A hardback children’s book in honor of your child.

  • The Celebrate the Children Society – A one time gift of $125

    • A brick in the Walkway of Celebration chiseled with your child’s name
    • Invitations to one exclusive donor event a year
    • But it is important to know that your donation goes to more than your child’s brick. The Walkway of Celebration extends far beyond the ST. FRANCIS eastside courtyard, winding through all of St. Francis’ family services

The Gift that Keeps on Giving

The opportunities to make your child’s mark on St. Francis don’t end with the Walkway of Celebration. Contact the St. Francis Foundation office if you are interested in the opportunity to celebrate your child with his or her name on:
  • A Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Post-Partum (LDRP) Room
  • A Nurses Station (Center of operations for the main floor, or Neonatal Care Unit)
  • Conference Room (Where your nurses receive the ongoing training that allows them to give you the very best care)
  • Waiting Room
  • Neonatal Care Unit
